I’m not quite sure how I could sum up my 2008… I’m torn between saying it was a good year and bad year, I’m just not so sure. In the first six months of 2008, I can definitely say it was a fabulous time because I was earning quite a lot with blogging and I made a dream come true by becoming an entrepreneur, career wise it was all good. I was also able to have a vacation with my family in Baguio and I was able to return to Boracay with my college friends during the summer. I also took a road trip to Bicol and it was really a fun summer. I already anticipated that somehow I shouldn’t be having too much fun and the first bolt of sickness came in the later part of June with herpes zoster which almost made me blind and it was a painful and horrific experience… after that I was able to go to Singapore in August, it was also a fantastic experience but after I came back the second bolt of sickness came and I had the worst lupus flare I ever had in years… I’ve been sick the whole time since September and despite the fact that somehow I feel much better I am still not as healthy as I can be and my health condition is not yet stable. Last November, I went back in Lord’s service teaching young kids in public school about God’s salvation and it was something that I always want to do, I also started to attend fellowships again and somehow started to heal and move on from the bad experience I had in church a few years back. I’m still struggling, I still feel like an outcast sometimes and there are still times that I feel unwelcome there but I’m looking into Jesus and I just know that things that will be fine in time…
To sum it all, things are still uncertain for me. But I could say that my 2008 was good, maybe not the best but definitely not all bad…

I just saw the finale of Survivor Philippines and JC won as the first Pinoy Sole Survivor. I just knew he would win against Rob. I just feel he is more deserving of the title. I had to admit that even though I am a regular viewer of the show especially during its first few days, I had lost interest in it when the betrayals started to annoy me. I guess that kind of show is not really my thing. But great job for GMA for bringing the show to the Philippine TV Scene, especially to Paolo Bediones for being a fantastic host. I just hope the Kapuso station will not overly expose the castaways (like they always do) nakakaumay lang talaga minsan!
